When children get sick, they often want their mothers to take care of them and nurse them back to health. But who takes care of mothers when they're sick?
These 4 mothers had successful surgery in January 2016 to cure their congenital heart disease. However, they still need subsidies for the operations they desperately needed but couldn't fully afford. Will you donate $50 to help take care of them? Savoring the freshness of life and the buds of spring, discover what's blooming this season at TFISH. Happy Easter!
As we celebrate this spring holiday associated with new life, we're excited to share about these new projects with you.

"Thanksgiving, after all, is a word of action." (W.J. Cameron) What will this holiday inspire you to do? In America, we're brining the turkeys and buying the fixings to prepare for the upcoming traditional feast. In rural Asia, humble farmers are rejoicing in the harvest they've reaped for the year. As we enter the holiday season, let's remember to keep the heart of giving central to the celebration. We give thanks for your wonderful support and all that we've been able to accomplish together. May you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving. View the original e-newsletter.
This fall, help Vietnamese orphans turn over a new leaf. Equip them to succeed in life after they leave the orphanage.Autumn is in the air. The trees have turned their brilliant hues; the seasonal pumpkin-flavored craze has hit the markets; and the night chill makes that extra blanket feel warm and cozy. The kids here have also settled into their typical school routines. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, orphan students in Vietnam have an opportunity to begin a new kind of education. Preparing Orphans for the Job MarketLinh was abandoned at an orphanage at birth and will likely spend her entire childhood in this institutionalized setting. There are 2.1 million marginalized orphans in Vietnam like her, and only 1% of them will qualify for university.
Linh is now 9 years old. Before she has to leave the orphanage at age 19, let's equip her and other orphans for the tech-dependent job market they will face. Got the end-of-summer blues? This Father's Day, consider adopting a family in western China and develop a long-term relationship. As we celebrate Father’s Day, we honor fathers who embrace their family role and work hard to provide for their children. A Father’s Heart Loves We see a father’s love as he demonstrates approval and affirmation of the children he has been entrusted with. We see a father’s heart as he opens his arms to welcome his sons and daughters.
This Mother's Day, consider adopting a family in western China and help transform lives. Learn more...Greetings! This is Carolyn Der, TFish Fund’s new Communications Officer. I am excited to join the team, especially as we launch the new Adopt a Family campaign this Mother’s Day!
As Mother’s Day approaches, think of the maternal love this holiday celebrates—warmth…commitment… nurture…care. TFish Fund presents an opportunity for you to give that same kind of love and care to families in Gansu who need your help. Adopt a Family With your support, TFish has already helped at least 1,000 children get the treatment they need for their congenital heart disease. While successful treatment opens up new possibilities for these families, they still have felt needs. Our goal has always been to sponsor their surgery and then to follow up with post-surgery care, particularly with efforts to relieve poverty. We’re inviting you to adopt a family in Gansu for a year. Each of these families struggles to meet their basic needs, and your support will empower them toward overcoming poverty. Mother’s Day is the launch of this new program, which is run in-house by our own staff in Lanzhou. It will help the families become more self-sustaining in the future. |
