We walked on a smooth road with beautiful scenery for several miles. Then, we began to climb a rugged mountain path. Wild Lily Foundation is an NGO that focuses on supporting school children with generally low nutrient intake, and helping them to balance their physical and mental developments. After leaving Shengli elementary school, we went straight to the Nongyou teaching point, which was not located anywhere near the road, so we needed to head up and down the hill to get there. The implementation of the Egg Plan occasionally needs support from both school and parents, Fang Xiaogang explained. The eggs sent here need to be distributed to each school by volunteers. It took us a lot of time to go to Nongyou Primary School from the main road. Fortunately, Youqi primary school was not far from where we were. Bird's-eye view: Youqi Wanquan primary school. We asked about the eggs and rice program at the school. We also checked the children's dormitory. They have no decent bedding, and some of them even sleep in the floor. Their towels and basins are old and ragged.

-- On April 25, we spent two hours traveling to the Victory Primary School. We wanted to know the current progress of our egg program. On the morning of April 26, we woke up at 7 a.m. after hearing children's voices. The workers of the school had already boiled eggs before breakfast, and the teachers were distributing the eggs to students before the examination. Our goal is to have the "Nutrition Improvement Program" carry out in every school by the end of the month. After communicating with the headmaster, we established that every morning there would be a daily distribution of eggs. Every quarter, our executive director Nancy writes a short article to update TFish friends and partners about the most recent progress that Transparent Fish has made.
-- T-Fish has already helped partners Wild Lily and Little Red Scarf CARE finish fundraising for the first quarter. These two organizations have provided materials such as stories, photos, and financial reports to display transparency with their activities. T-Fish has processed these materials into a donor’s book, which will go towards operating oversees fundraising initiatives. As of yesterday, T-Fish has helped raise $1333 for the Wild Lily’s “One Egg Plan” for the first quarter of year 2012. Along with this, T-Fish will be funding $1715 for the administrative costs of Wild Lily, for a total funding of $3048. T-Fish has successfully helped raise a total of $2953 for Little Red Scarf CARE. The funds have covered: scholarships for 5 students; costs for special sicknesses; and gifts, nutrition, and study tools for post-surgery recovery. Everyone can see information about fundraisers, amount of funds, and supporting projects on the right side of the platform of T-Fish. Details of donations can also be accessed by logging onto the T-Fish fundraising website (www.tfishfund.org). We welcome your attention and inquiry. We thank all of our colleagues for their support! We also encourage each organization to post its project and service stories on our T-Fish platform. We look forward to further interaction with each organization and hope to establish a strategic, cooperative partnership. Let’s build the future of NGOs together! Thank you. _[Summary: Every month, NGOs supported by the Transparent Fish Fund write updates on their latest activity and progress.
