LRS Care: Return Visits
Little Red Scarf provides financial support and encouragement to children suffering from congenital heart disease. In addition, they provide families with post-operative care and help the children sustain a healthy lifestyle.
There were 5 children discharged from the hospital in September 2012. We recently conducted a telephone interview of each of their families. We wanted to know how they were doing. Let’s share their recent developments:
369 Liangzi Discharge time: 09/10/2012; Telephone interview: 01/30/2013; Re-examination: 10/2012; Recent developments: Liangzi's breastbone has not recovered well two months after the operation. The doctor asked him to reduce activity and come back to the hospital for a check-up in half-a-year. His father said that he hasn't caught a cold since the operation and he's able to eat more. He looks much better and will come back to the hospital for a follow-up check.
