Project: Clean Water for Students in Haiti

Mission:  Deliver clean water to 15,000 students in over 80 schools in Haiti for the 2016 - 2017 school year, utilizing the existing infrastructure of dloHaiti.

Results: dloHaiti currently serves over 375,000 people through 625 sales points and 10 water treatment centers. What makes dloHaiti special is the location of its treatment centers in remote areas. This creates local jobs for construction, operation, and maintenance, and it fosters a community economy based on water distribution through local vendors. The vendors use point-of-sale IT inventory management to track all sales. This technology can track each donation directly to the student in need.

$10 will give one Haitian student access to clean water for an entire school year.

100% of donations go to the operational costs of treatment and delivery of the water. DloHaiti is a sustainable business and does not depend on donations. We are fundraising to expand our efforts to serve students without any means to clean water.  Our existing infrastructure gives us the ability to deliver this clean water to local schools at the lowest cost. That's why for only $10, one Haitian student can get access to clean water for an entire school year.
