One Child, One Egg Nutrition Program
One-Egg-Per-Day for 300 Shengli Elementary School children from 2011 Sept to 2012 July. To supplement nutrition in the destitute mountainous region of Western China, Wild Lily offers an "Egg Program," which provides eggs for school lunches. Eggs contain protein, vitamin D and fat. By including eggs in the lunches of poor schoolchildren, Wild Lily hopes to give them more complete nutrition. The NGO will be measuring the impact of its work by working with local physicians.
