After heart surgery, it is crucial for parents to feed children with the right nutrients for children to fully recuperate and function as a healthy child. LRS sends a month's supply of milk, rice, and pastries to every family after surgery. You can donate $30 and help one family have the right nutrients to care for their child for the first month after heart surgery. Our goal is to help provide nutrition box for 20 families.

Most children who suffer from congenital cannot attend school because they have trouble breathing or cannot participate in the daily activities with their peers. Student Aid for Wang Zhongshe 
Help Zhongshe receive funding for his schooling! Zhongshe’s school grades are very good, and outside of classes Zhongshe loves to study and read. However, because of his congenital heart disease, he has had no choice but to take time out of school. Though already 16, Zhongshe was only just in 8th grade. When Zhongshe was 1 year old, he contracted pneumonia twice.

Student Aid for Lina Gao
At the age of seven, Lina was diagnosed with congenital heart disease. It was not until ten years later when she became 17 years old, she direly needed surgery and it was finally performed successfully with the funding and support from Little Red Scarf Alliance (www.littleredscarf.org). After surgery, Lina took a year leave of absence to recover and to restore. Now she is back to school but needs funding for her tuition to continue schooling.

Fangdi needs funds for school supplies! Fangdi was born into a family of seven. At the age of six months, she was diagnosed with congenital heart disease. Having been hospitalized with pneumonia at the time, her family thought that it was purely a problem with her lung. However, the county hospital soon diagnosed her with congenital heart disease.
