Currently, Beijing's air quality is measured from 200-300 air pollution index on a PM2.5 micrometers scale which is hazardous for everyone especially pregnant mothers, children, and the elderly to go outside. Polluted city air increases the risk of premature death of babies and lung disease. The major causes of the sudden smog is due to a booming Beijing population, rapid increase of vehicles on the road and numerous coal factories. However, the vulnerable population are still unaware. Beijing inhabitants rely heavily on commuting in jam-packed subways, buses, and streets. Protect a person's life buy purchasing an air mask. TFish Lab will have our volunteers pass out the mask to these people on subways, buses, and streets on your behalf. Each air mask costs 25 cents. 10 dollars can buy 40 air masks sealed (3M) to help protect 40 people's life.
