Grant Results: April - July 2016We were able to provide 25 families with pigs, chickens, and ducks, and some of them also received cows. The livestock gave the beneficiaries a source of income that allowed them to provide food and education for their families. Some were also able to pay for medical care. First Pay It Forward Update

Educational Field Trip UpdateOur core group of 25 families, who have received livestocks as gifts, know enough about raising livestock to keep their animals alive. But we wanted to give everyone the opportunity to learn more about caring for their livestock, so we took them on a field trip to an established farm where experienced farmers shared their knowledge, answered questions and shared successful farming techniques.
Partnership BenefitsPartnering with TFISH has made our mission and goals more easily achieved. The process has been easy yet thorough, and granted funds were quickly received. TFISH also allows us to do our work independently.
