Savoring the freshness of life and the buds of spring, discover what's blooming this season at TFISH.
As we celebrate this spring holiday associated with new life, we're excited to share about these new projects with you.
A New Path to Cross the River
Thanks to Dr. and Mrs. Chang's generous donation of $10,500, our third bridge in Vietnam was completed in February. The new bridge replaces a dangerous 17-year-old one that caused many accidents of people falling into the water.
A New Shelter to Call Home
Our field partner in Vietnam has developed a new model for building even better houses. They will be made of brick, which is sturdy enough to last at least 40 years and will keep the family cooler during the summer. This new model costs $2200.
A New Healthcare Method in Burma
What do you do if you're sick in Burma? Due to government misrule and ethnic conflict, qualified health professionals have left the country. We're supporting the Backpacking Medic Team to equip locals with skills necessary to manage their healthcare problems.
Volunteer for LRS Summer Camp in Gansu
Do you have a heart to serve underprivileged Chinese children? We're looking for 2 volunteers to help with our LRS Summer Camp 2016 in Gansu.
Spring into action with us this month, and be a part of something new!
