Xi'an Alliance works to promote a spirit of volunteerism. Many student volunteers are trained to participate in public welfare activities and social work.
On Mar 14, 2013, the volunteers took 3 computers donated by an enterprise as well as daily necessities to the students and teachers in Saijiawang Primary School.
We were welcomed by smile faces on arriving at the school. The campus is shabby and the facilities are very simple. Many of windows do not have glasses. The students seldom wash their faces or brush their teeth due to the shortage of daily necessities, so the hygiene among them is poor.
Some of the volunteers played games with them and some of them combed hair for the children and matched with nice hair decorations. We also distributed towels, toothbrushes, toothpastes and cups to them. Everyone said thank you to us. Then the volunteers taught them the right way to brush teeth and wash face. They were listening attentively. We were happy to see all of these.
