“New PC. I am really lucky!”, Yang Xiufang, a disabled woman living in Rainbow complex, Xianyang City said today. In the afternoon of April 11, I applied to president a PC for Yang Xiuying, group head of Disabled Assistant Volunteer Group. I told president:
She could not even go down the bed and the PC she was using currently was very old and often could not work. Our voluntary services relies a lot on internet which would sent out needs information, Yang Xiufang needs a better host computer.
With this, president expressed they would donate a pc to Yang immediately. A kind person donated a host computer which had been used as a management computer in an internet café. It should meet the needs of Xiufang.
In the morning of April 12, I took the computer to a digital shopping mall and found someone to do a test. The machine runs quickly and a technician re-stalled the system for free. When we sent the pc to Xiufang’s home and told her it was donated by 029 Public Service Organization. We replaced her old PC with new one and everything went well with it. Xiufang was really happy to see the new PC, “I am really lucky”! In the afternoon, we visited her again and asked about the new PC. She said it runs nice and sound. Thank president of 029 Public Service Organziation and the technician in digital shopping mall.
